he school should be a place where everyone likes to go. Colorful, friendly, creative and educational - these characteristics, among others, describe the mission statement of the Volksschule Völkermarkt St. Peter am Wallersberg. Our motivation was to convey exactly these feelings to the website visitors.
project procedure
The homepage of the bilingual elementary school was to be renewed, as the school would like to present itself on the internet in a contemporary way and according to the age groups. We were commissioned by the principal VD Anna Korak to redesign the colorful website. The star "Walli", the mascot of VS St. Peter am Wallersberg, is to guide visitors through the fresh online presence.
Among other things, the website contains important information about the school administration, the presentation of the team and the school classes, timetables and information about the Hort/GTS. To keep parents and other interested parties up to date, exciting news from school life and past events are presented on an ongoing basis. One advantage of the new website is the very easy administration on the part of the elementary school.
Thanks to Alpsware, it is now possible to present our school life to the general public in an interesting and appealing way. The really successful homepage appeals very well to children, parents and teachers. It is an invaluable asset for our entire school community and is always kept up-to-date by the motivated teachers.
